Privacy Policy

Ammo Vault is designed with privacy as a core principle. Here is exactly what the app does and does not do with your data:

All data is stored exclusively on your device, encrypted with AES-256-GCM
No data is ever transmitted to any server, cloud service, or third party
No user accounts are created or required
No analytics, telemetry, tracking, or advertising of any kind
No personal information is collected — not your name, email, location, or device ID
Face ID / Touch ID authentication is handled entirely by iOS through the Secure Enclave
Deleting the app permanently and irrecoverably deletes all stored data
The app requires no internet connection and functions entirely offline

Can I back up my data?

Not yet. Data export and import is planned for a future update.

What if I forget my passphrase?

There is no recovery mechanism. Without your passphrase or biometric unlock, the vault cannot be decrypted. This is by design for your security.

Does the app work without internet?

Yes. Ammo Vault is fully offline. No internet connection is ever needed or used.

Can I add custom calibers?

Not yet. The app supports 38 built-in calibers covering the most popular US rounds. Custom caliber support is on the roadmap.

Is my data shared with anyone?

No. Your data never leaves your device. There are no servers, no cloud sync, and no third-party services of any kind.
